Metering Units, VT's & CT's

Hunter Transformers supply Combined Metering Units with precision-engineered current transformers (CT) and voltage transformers (VT) integrated into a single compact assembly. Each unit is built to strict Australian and international standards, using high-quality materials and insulation systems to ensure long-term reliability, accuracy, and safety in energy metering and protection applications with a design lifespan of 25-40 years (depending on the operating environment).

Pole mounted metering units constructed with Hot Dipped Galvanised Steel, Mild Steel Printed or Stainless Steel tanks are built to meet the harshest of Australian weather conditions. Integrated sun sheilds can be included for pad mount units.

Dual VT output models with multiple CT's (per phase) have segregated connection boxes for connection to Revenue Metering, Power Quality monitoring and boundary protection applications. These are ideal for smaller scale Solar Farms up to 5MW.
